Meet Dr. Jessie Schwarz

Originally from Santa Fe, New Mexico, Dr. Jessie Schwarz received her Bachelors of Science in Physiology from UC Davis in 1998. She completed her dental training at Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 2002, with honors. In 2004 she received her specialty Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from Harvard Children's Hospital - Boston. While at Children’s Hospital, she was awarded the distinction of being named Chief Resident of her program. She also published her research on medical history, reporting in the Journal of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

After completing her specialty training in 2004, Dr. Schwarz relocated to Los Angeles and began working in private practice in the San Fernando Valley and on the westside of LA. In 2013, she teamed up with Dr. Ellen Stone to open their own practice, Santa Monica Dentistry for Children. The practice has blossomed and grown since its inception and now includes a fantastic team of four pediatric dentists (Drs. Schwarz, Stone, Bundy and Wagle) and an orthodontist, Dr. Elana Norman. Dr. Schwarz feels very lucky to be able to provide dental care in this community and work alongside this team of highly dedicated and passionate health care providers.

In addition to loving working with her patients, Dr. Schwarz enjoys spending time with her kids: her son, Lev, and daughter, Ren. She and her husband, Jona, enjoy traveling, hiking, and doing artistic projects.
